To mark its 40th anniversary, the extractor hood manufacturer Best unveiled several stunning new extractor hoods at Eurocucina in Milan. The Best Crown wall-mounted hood, with its shape reminiscent of a classic floor lamp, can be installed with or without a chimney. The Best Frame wall-mounted hood, with its surrounding frame, resembles a mirror, making it not only functional but also highly decorative. The Best Kite Touch is a further refinement of the long-standing bestseller, the Best Kite, now featuring more modern and user-friendly controls. The Best Kylix is a classic stainless steel wall-mounted hood with a clean, contemporary design. In contrast, the new Best Puddy island hood, with its flowing curves, is reminiscent of a flower. The Best Hostaria, also an island hood, has the shape and look of a classic, timeless lamp, its traditional color scheme further emphasizing its timeless appeal. The Best Upper is a retractable downdraft extractor hood with striking and expressive design elements. It has a highly technical appearance. The new Best Slot is a cooktop extractor that captures cooking fumes directly at the source – the cooktop. This principle was developed and successfully launched by ventilation technology manufacturer BORA. In essence, the new Best Slot is a downward-facing extractor. The Best Swan is also a downdraft extractor; Its unique feature is its hinged upper section, allowing it to draw air closer to the food and thus capture rising steam more effectively. Best has also introduced the Best Windy ceiling-mounted extractor hood, consisting of three elements. The new Best Ghibli is a standout product. This extractor hood is installed in a housing behind the cooktop and draws the cooking fumes from the back of the cooktop. The Best Cloud is virtually invisible, as it is installed in a wall cabinet above the cooktop. The Best Spirit uses a similar installation technique, with its technology concealed inside a wall cabinet above the glass-ceramic cooktop.
